Brought onboard due to her expert knowledge of what Millennials want from their work, Alice facilitated and chaired this panel discussion between Qualcomm employees from the different generations, offering an insight into their varying career and workplace needs.
We asked each of the generations the following questions to further understand any apparent generational difference in the workplace:
- How could leadership change to suit your needs more?
- What challenges can you perceive for your generation in the future?
- What would your solutions be to these challenges?
- What are your current/perceived frustrations in the workplace? What needs to change?
- What do you need from each other (peers, managers, and leaders) in order to work well together?
The discussion led to a deeper understanding of what the different generations want and expect from work, and ways to accommodate these needs in order to work together in better ways.
